「鮭魚返鄉」名稱的緣由：
鮭魚早年生活在河流中，接著游向大海並在海裡成長。之後他們會迴游到記憶裡的誕生地，並在故鄉的河流產卵繁衍後代。因此我們的營隊名稱為「鮭魚返鄉」，即是期望藉著一系列精彩的夏令營活動，讓在海外打拼的校友的孩子像鮭魚一般回到臺灣，感受臺灣的美麗，增加對臺灣的瞭解。
Why our summer camp’s name is " Root-seeking "?
Our summer camp’s Chinese name is “鮭魚返鄉”, which means “the return of the salmon”.
Since salmon spend their early life in rivers, and then swim out to sea where they live their adult lives. When they have matured, they return to the rivers which are also their hometown to spawn.
Through our exciting summer camp’s activities, we expect alumni’s children come back to Taiwan like “the return of the salmon”, and experience the beauty of Taiwan, and know more about Taiwan.
活動日期：2020/8/2-8/10（加贈花蓮2天1夜經典輕旅行！）
招募對象：現旅居海外之校友子女、孫子女，以及外籍人士參加，學員身份須為高中生或大學生。
報名費用：1000美元，透過校友會推薦報名者，即享優惠價500美元，請就近向所在地區之校友會申請。
